Donald and Betty Herring of Oxford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24, 2008, at their home.
The children include Donnie Herring of Oxford and Brian and Wendy Doss of Birmingham. Grandchildren include Brandon Herring and Bryant Herring, both of Birmingham. Great-grandchildren include Ashton Sanders of Oxford.
The couple was married on Aug. 22, 1958, in Tennessee.
