Owen/Smith engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Edward Owen of New Market announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Paige Owen, to Brandon Lee Smith, son of Mrs. Judy Smith of Alexandria. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Cunningham and the late Mr. Foster Cunningham of Birmingham and Mr. and Mrs. B.S. Owen of Birmingham.

Miss Owen is a graduate of Hazel Green High School and is a student at Jacksonville State University. She is employed by The Civilian Marksmanship Program.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Curvin of Alexandria.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of Alexandria High School and Gadsden State Community College. He is self-employed.

The wedding will be Dec. 13, 2008, at the Guntersville State Park Resort Lodge.

If you wish to include a photo, please submit original prints that are at least 3x5 inches and in focus. We cannot return photos, but will hold them for 30 days after publication for pick-up.
