Steward/Lambert engagement

Donna and Larry Martin of Opelika announce the engagement of their daughter, Laycie N. Steward, to Christopher L. Lambert, son of Linda and LeRoy Lambert of Centre. Ms. Steward is also the daughter of Philip and Kathy Steward of Oxford.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Lipscomb of Anniston and of Betty Steward and the late Robert E. Steward of Oxford.

Ms. Steward is a graduate of Auburn University. She is employed with the Pell City School System as an agriscience teacher and FFA advisor.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ola Miller and the late Erben Miller of Piedmont and the late Roy and Tennie Lambert of Centre.

Mr. Lambert is employed by Temple-Inland Forest Products Corporation in Rome, Ga.

The wedding will be Nov. 22, 2008, at Golden Springs Baptist Church.
