Brown/Ference engagement

Steve and Cindy Eggers of Evergreen announce the engagement of their daughter Alison Nicole Brown, to Alex Edward Ference, son of Joseph and the late Alberta Ference of Clairton, Pa.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Coy and Thelma Foley and the late Alfred Gorum of Evergreen and Willie Sam and the late Maggie Brown of Evergreen.

Ms. Brown is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. She is employed by U.S. Investigations Services as an investigator.

Mr. Ference is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. He is employed by Office of the District Attorney 7th Judicial Circuit as an investigator.

The wedding will be Oct. 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Jacksonville State University Alumni House in Jacksonville.
