Stephens/Webb wedding

Marla Gay Stephens and Richard Todd Webb were united in marriage on July 12, 2008, at sunset on the beach in Sandestin, Fla., with Marqueax Warner officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Stephens and the granddaughter of Mae and Paul Parrish and the late Durword Taylor of Corinth Community, and the late Dewey and Margaret Stephens of Dickert.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Webb and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Whaley and Ms. Sue Pike and the late Recel Pike and the late Tommy Webb, all of Roanoke. They said their vows underneath an arbor adorned with a central feature of red and yellow roses and bright green hypericum berries with the center of the arrangement bursting with pale yellow lilies with flowing greenery and vines trailing through sides of the arbor, draping to the sand.
The bride wore a simple ivory silk tricotine dress with an empire waist and linen accessories. Their small two-tiered ivory fondant cake with banana and strawberry filling was cut and served to the wedding party consisting of the bride's mother, Sybil Stephens; family friend Toni Gay of Wadley and her guest; and the groom's parents, Rick and Sandra Webb, at Seagar's Restaurant where the couple dined afterward.
The couple resides in Wadley.
