Calhoun County Restaurant Week begins today

The 11-day celebration is meant to be a preview for Taste of Calhoun County, which will be held at the chamber’s 30th annual Business Expo Oct. 21 at the Anniston Meeting Center.

Star to raise monthly subscription rate by 50 cents

RMC reportedly extends contract with Blue Cross

Regional Medical Center has apparently extended its contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, avoiding the loss of the insurer's customers in September. However, the hospital and the insurer have so far not discussed the deal publicly.

CDP trains teams to help pets during disasters
