Troopers identify I-20 wreck victims

The victims in a fatal two-vehicle wreck Sunday on Interstate 20 in Cleburne County have been identified by Alabama State Troopers.

Brianne Barlow, 3, of McDonough, Ga., the passenger in a 1995 Ford Explorer, and Roy Jackson, 47, of Birmingham, the driver of a 2003 Mercedes, were killed in the accident, which happened at 5:08 p.m. Sunday.

Lakeshia Barlow, 25, also of McDonough, the driver of the Ford Explorer, was transported to Tanner Medical Center.

A spokeswoman at the Jacksonville trooper post said the accident occurred near exit 205, east of Heflin.

The accident shut down all west-bound lanes of the highway Sunday evening, with traffic diverted to U.S. 78, according to state troopers.

Troopers are investigating the accident.
