Two Calhoun County educators teacher of the year finalists

The Alabama Department of Education released its list of 16 finalists for the Alabama Teacher of the Year today — two work in Calhoun County. A press release named Amber L. Trantham at Alexandria Elementary School and Deedee S. Adams at Oxford High School as finalists for the award this school year. The department will narrow the list down to four teachers in April.
