That hog was NOT running. It was backing right up to my wallet. I fell for their sales pitch/snake oil hook, line and sinker. I know better. Nothing is going to turn back the hands of time. I am 50 and going to look 50.  One reason I feel so stupid is that teh very people selling me the bill of goods, particularly the ‘spa manager’ — well, good Lord, I should have engaged my brain and looked at her!!!!!

And the people doing the work on me. Well, enough said.

I was stupid and now I know better. I just hope they feel a slight twinge of guilt over the crap they convinced me to pay for.

have been running pretty fast to catch that hog. Just keep running like that and at least your body will look younger.

I’ll bet you are an honest woman (?).  You probably are a friend of my wife.  I don’t know you, but many of my wife’s friends are looking for the same thing.

We just don’t know how to grow old gracefully anymore.  But I do have to tell you, 50 is a young age.  Try 80.  Enjoy what you have.

Ok it is my fault…. You are not to blame… I saw one of those ads for a medical spa promising to make me look younger.. “world class” and “treatments that work”… Yep, I fell for it. Face it… I am fifty and never going to look anything but 50 (until next year that is). Will we ever learn? Ok, Ponce de Leon search from Bimini to Florida. I went to Oxford. Now I am out a whole paycheck and still look my age. Oh yes, I am glowing…LOL
With embarrassment…. So my fellow posters, when you see a flat broke 50 year old woman glowing with embarrassment: feel free to thump me on the head and ask what was I thinking……
