Birmingham News: U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus may face challenge from state Sen. Scott Beason
Residents in the 6th Congressional District received automated phone calls Tuesday night asking whether they would vote for Beason or Bachus in a Republican primary. There is a "Draft Scott Beason for Congress" page on Facebook touting his "ironclad conservative principles."
