The first alcohol license in the City of Cullman was issued Tuesday afternoon — and legal sales began just a few minutes later, at a Cullman convenience store.

The Catoma Mart, at the intersection of Eva Road and Alabama Hwy. 157, was approved by the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board earlier this week, and finalized paperwork with city hall at approximately 1:40 p.m.
