Study: Health care law repeal could cost 2 million Alabamians their insurance
As the health care repeal debate began Tuesday in Congress, the Obama administration released a study saying that without the new law, between 790,000 and 2 million Alabamians could be denied insurance because of pre-existing medical conditions.
State leaders voiced skepticism about the study and maintained their opposition to the sweeping health care overhaul passed last year.
