The Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Lee and Russell county sheriffs’ offices are investigating an alleged assault of a handcuffed suspect by off-duty deputies Friday night.

Russell County Sheriff’s deputies Kirby Dollar and Timothy Watford and Phenix City police officer Rachael Hauser have been suspended without pay after the alleged assault of Patrick Carlton Harrington in Smiths Station late Friday.
